# The Artlux Token (ATX)

Artlux Token (represented with the ticker, ATX) is a BEP20 token powering the Artlux ecosystem comprising an NFT marketplace and a Metaverse. Artlux Token is at the center of Artlux—allowing users to interact within the ecosystem.

Holders of the Artlux Token (ATX) could earn soft staking benefits. It also becomes easier to carry out transactions within the ecosystem because you automatically pay for gas using the Artlux Token (ATX). ATX will be traded traditionally on decentralized and centralized exchanges.

As an NFT-based ecosystem, Artlux Token will be used to mint and auction NFTs within the Artlux NFT marketplace. Other key features and offerings of Artlux such as play-to-earn games and NFT Lottery will be backed by the Artlux Token (ATX).
